Meet our Pastor:
Austin Williams is from the upstate of South Carolina and has recently moved to Joanna First Baptist Church. He and his family enjoy serving the people of Joanna and loving on this community. He is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible College and Andersonville Theological Seminary, where he is now working towards earning his Masters of Pastoral Leadership. His wife Tiffany serves in our worship ministry. His daughter Paisley loves to sing, climb on the stage, and find candy all throughout the church. He would love to meet you in the days to come, and we hope you will join us at Joanna FBC soon!

The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and is the basis of any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the “Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 14, 2000.

We strive to exalt Christ and focus on the Great Commision. We offer small groups and worship opportunities for all ages. Our JKIDZ children’s ministry meets on Sunday mornings and Wednesday Nights, and we strive to teach and train young children the Word of God on their level. Our other small groups challenge all ages of believers.

Merica Dyar
Merica serves at Joanna FBC as our Worship Leader. She is a bright spirit and a joy to be around. Merica loves spending time with her family, taking trips, and her job at Laurens Elementary School as an Instructional Coach. Merica is also a Georgia Bulldog fan.

Marsha serves at Joanna FBC as the Church Secretary. Marsha is a joy to serve with and a bright personality in our office. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Husband.
